What are the differences between eVisitor and eVisa for Australia?
The Australian eVisa (ETA) and eVisitor are both travel authorizations that grant multiple entries to Australia within 12 months, with each stay limited to 3 months (90 days). However, there are significant differences between the 02 types of visas.
- eVisitor visa: The eVisitor visa is a type of travel authorization that allows citizens of eligible countries, including Poland, to visit Australia for short-term purposes such as tourism, business activities, or visiting family and friends.
- e-Visa (ETA): An electronic visa is issued entirely online. The e-visa is valid for 12 months in Australia. The e-visa allows for multiple entries, enabling you to leave and re-enter Australia as often as you wish. Each entry permits up to 3 months. The e-visa is only for tourism and short-term business trips in Australia.
If you intend to stay in Australia for longer than 3 months at a time, you must leave and re-enter the country. The visa's validity begins on the date it is granted unless you hold another substantive visa that is already in effect.
