How long can British citizens stay in Australia with an e-visa?

Typically, Australian e-visas allow visitors to stay in the country for up to 90 days (3 months) on each visit. The ETA automatically expires one year after issuance. There are specific conditions and requirements that must be followed:

  • Tourist e-Visa: This visa is for tourism purposes. British citizens are allowed a maximum stay of 3 months per visit within one year from the date of issue. The e-visa permits multiple entries.
  • Business e-Visa: This visa is for attending short-term business activities in Australia. British citizens can stay for a maximum of three months per visit in Australia. This e-visa also allows for multiple entries.
