What is the maximum duration of stay with an Australia e-Visa?
Once you have obtained an ETA visa, it is not limited to a single visit to Australia. The ETA (e-Visa) remains valid for an entire year from the date of issuance, allowing you the flexibility to visit Australia multiple times within this one year.
However, it's important to note that each visit must adhere to the maximum duration conditions, which means that you cannot stay in Australia for more than 90 days per visit.
There are certain situations where you may not be able to reuse your eTA within its one-year validity period. For instance, if you renew your passport or if there are significant changes in your personal information, such as address, identity, or nationality, you will need to go through the eTA application process again. This involves applying for a new eTA online and paying the required administrative and transfer fees once more.
It's important to keep these factors in mind to ensure compliance with the eTA regulations and to make any necessary arrangements if your circumstances change during the validity of your eTA visa. For more inquiries and assistance, please contact us at the Australia Immigration Services.
