How long can Bruneians stay in Australia with an e-visa?
The Australian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is typically valid for multiple short stays of up to 3 months each within a 12-month period. This means that once granted, you can visit Australia multiple times during the validity period, with each visit not exceeding 3 months.
At present, Bruneian visitors can acquire one of the following e-visa for Australia as below:
- Tourist e-Visa: This visa allows visitors to enter the country for tourism purposes. The visa is valid for 1 year and allows visitors to remain in the country for up to 90 days. This visa also permits multiple entries.
- Business e-visa: This type of e-visa permits visitors to enter Australia for short-term business purposes. However, do note that a short-term business visa does not allow visitors engaging employment activities or act as a work permit. This visa is valid for 1 year and allows multiple entries.
