How long is an Australian eVisa valid for Malta citizens?
The Australia tourist e-visa, also known as the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or e-visa, is typically valid for multiple entries within 12 months from the date of issue. Each stay under this visa can last for a maximum of 3 months (90 days) at a time.
Australia Immigration Services offers the following 02 types of e-visas for Australia, please check the description below and select the suitable visa for your trip.
- Tourist e-Visa: The tourist e-visa permits visitors to enter the country for tourism, leisure, and vacation purposes only. The e-visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and allows a maximum of 90 days on each trip. Multiple entries are permitted.
- Business e-Visa: The tourist e-visa permits visitors to enter the country for short periods business trips, work conferences, etc. The business e-visa is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance and allows up to 90 days on each trip. Multiple entries are permitted.
Do keep in mind that these e-visas do not allow Maltese citizens to work in Australia or engage in any employment activities. For a working permit, please contact the Australian Embassy.
