The waterfall is magnificent, and the cool swimming hole in the emerald-green water is wonderful on a hot day.

A 20-meter plunge from a rock overhang characterizes Victoria Falls, a distinctive cascading waterfall on Victoria Creek. This waterfall may be reached by a very arduous hiking trail that begins at the parking lot at the end of Victoria Falls Road in Mount Victoria.

The steep trek to the pool at the base of the Victoria Creek Cascades promises a sweat - especially as you plod your way back up - but the opportunity to wade under a waterfall? It was well worth it. This broad, short waterfall cascades into a shallow, green swimming hole that can be a little cold due to its gloomy jungle surroundings, but don't worry - the return walk to the car park at the end of Victoria Falls Road will warm you right up. Take a little detour on the walking trail for a spectacular view of Victoria Falls' escarpments.

You'll be rewarded for your efforts with two fantastic natural swimming holes. The first is near the base of the cascades, and the second is near the Victoria Falls proper. Even if you don't want to swim, you'll appreciate the tranquility and serenity of both waterfalls.

Spectacular Scenic Views of Katoomba Falls From The Sky

Almost 150 meters down into Jamison Valley, Katoomba Falls is a magnificent waterfall nestled between Echo Point and Scenic World.

Visitors to Scenic World are guided on a brief but lovely circular walk to the waterfall through a beautiful rainforest habitat, with lovely views of the valley and adjacent escarpments as a bonus.

Between the parking lot and Scenic World's main gate is where the Katoomba Falls Round Walk begins. The Prince Henry Cliff Walk, a 7-kilometer climb to the Gordon Falls overlook in Leura, also begins here.

Discovering The Hidden Gem of Leura's Secret Falls

Leura Falls is a stunning waterfall, although not many people are aware of it. The very bottom of the falls, undoubtedly the most stunning aspect, is concealed despite Leura Cascades' enormous popularity. Fair enough, getting there takes more work, and there aren't any signs, but it's so, so worth it. 

Any path to get there will pass several other waterfalls; if you take our suggested circuit, you'll pass four.

Leura Falls can be reached in the shortest amount of time by traveling just about 3.5 km back and forth, but if you add a little extra distance, you may complete a fantastic circuit. This thread has all the information, including the location of the maintained track's detour. The final 300 meters to the falls are off-track and should not be taken after significant rain.

Wentworth Falls - the most famous fall in all

Wentworth Falls is the name of the well-known, three-tiered, nearly 200-meter-high waterfall as well as the town where it is situated.

The iconic Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains may be seen from various vantage points. The one closest to the parking lot is Wentworth Falls Lookout, which can be reached in a few minutes flat by walking along a paved route. 

However, you can only view the top of the falls from here. You must travel farther down the Wentworth Pass route, a haven for waterfall lovers, to either Fletchers or Rocket Point Lookout if you want to view Wentworth Falls in all its splendor.

My favorite is Rocket Point, which goes 2.4 kilometers roundtrip and has a more direct perspective of the falls. Both need some stair climbing on the way back, but it's worth it! Along the Wentworth Pass route, you may also hike to the base of the higher and lower falls.

A Breathtaking Walk Behind Horseshoe Falls

Approximately 18 kilometers east of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains' Horseshoe Falls Reserve, there is a small but beautiful waterfall called Horseshoe Falls near Hazelbrook.

Everyone enjoys walking behind waterfalls, and Horseshoe Falls is incredibly stunning. There's something so charming about how the falls are shaped as they plunge over the fern-covered ledge. Due to its location in the middle of the highlands, it attracts more residents than visitors, so you'll frequently have the place to yourself. 

The distance to the falls is only 700 meters one way, and most of the walk is downhill. Before you get to Horseshoe Falls, you will cross another lesser waterfall. Once there, you may stroll directly behind the falls; just be careful of slick, muddy places.

Empress Falls, one of the Blue Mountains' most undervalued waterfalls, may be reached by a short but steep walking path that begins near the old Conservation Hut in the Wentworth Falls region.

Linda Falls - Destination For True Adventurers

Located in Leura Forest, distant from the tourist hordes, Linda Falls is a modest and little-known waterfall on Linda Creek. The Dardanelles Pass circuit walk in the Leura and Katoomba region is a thrilling bushwalk that leads to the waterfall.

It's not the most straightforward hike, though, since you have to descend the valley via the Three Sisters Giant Stairway and then climb back up closer to Leura to see the natural waterfall.

Linda Falls is only one of the many sights to discover, but it's an interesting and exciting hike.

Experiencing Federal Falls' Serenity

The most stunning of the four waterfalls that can be viewed there is, without a doubt, the Federal Falls, which can be found along the 2.5-kilometer South Lawson Circuit Walk. Fifteen kilometers east of Katoomba is Lawson, a tranquil Blue Mountains village with a train station on the Blue Mountains Line.

Less than a kilometer separates the start of the circuit walk from the railroad station. Although not very big or stunning, the four waterfalls that line the route are gorgeous. The tranquil surroundings and stunning landscape in the region significantly improve the experience.

The circuit walk is older than a century and is also one of the few walking routes in the Blue Mountains that allows dogs. Federal Falls, which features a sandy beach, is situated at the bottom of a valley with a horseshoe form. Very difficult to resist the impulse to head for the top of the waterfall, which could be a better experience.

Even though there is a handrail, getting to the track's finish is challenging but worthwhile. A waterfall shower is a beautiful place to refresh oneself quickly. Even while getting back could be challenging, it is well worthwhile.
